MISSION STATEMENT
The Port Leyden Community Library continues to provide current, high demand, high interest reading materials for persons of all ages. The Library actively promotes and encourages the use of its collection. We will continue to place emphasis on the needs of our patrons and on encouraging all children to read for learning and enjoyment. We will provide our patrons with access to endless information and the latest in technology. We welcome and encourage the public to come in and make use of the library. We will also provide services through outreach programs.
VISION STATEMENT
The Port Leyden Community Library plans to make all people in the community aware of the services that the library provides and plans to promote activities that will make the library “the place to go” for information, education and entertainment.
